Code-of-Conduct for referees:
Referees are teens and pre-teens gaining confidence in this leadership role. We all need to encourage positive behaviour and immediately stop negative commentary from parents/coaches and players towards the referees. If you as a coach/parent notice a MAJOR missed call (or lack of call), respectfully speak with the referee AFTER the game to provide calm and constructive feedback. You may also email refconvenortcminorsoccer@gmail.com and include the day, time, team(s) and provide your observations.
Referees will make the call regarding inclement weather to cancel a game or stop play. The call will be made on the field. The U6/U8 referees will have guidance from the coaches and convenors out on the field.
